Watch: Nigerian female masseur Ijeoma Crosses 30 hours in a mission to break the Guinness record for longest massage in 72 the marathon

A Nigerian lady identified as Joyce Ijeoma, in Lekki, Lagos State, has crossed the 30-hour mark in her journey to achieve a 72-hour massaging marathon to set the Guinness World Record for the longest massage on different individuals.

The masseur who began her journey on the 1st of July 2023 had been massaging different persons nonstop and is still going strong at the time of filing this report.

Ijeoma is trying to break Alastair Galpin’s record for the longest full-body massage in 25 hours and 4 minutes which was held in South Kalimantan, Indonesia in November 2015.

However, she is yet to disclose whether the Guinness world records have been duly informed with a formal application.

Ijeoma revealed that she has done over 18 hours of massage in preparation for her record-breaking streak.

This is coming on the heels of Hilda Baci’s record of the longest cooking marathon by the GWR which lasted about 94 hours.

More Nigerians have since attempted various records including the longest lecture record set to hold later in the year.
