Finally, Arsenal accept £22million offer to sell Xhaka

 Arsenal's midfielder, Granit Xhaka, is set to leave the club with Bayer Leverkusen ready to pay significantly more for the midfielder.

According to Football.London, the Bundesliga side will pay a £21.5million fee, which is significantly higher than the £13million they offered initially. 


Xhaka, who joined Arsenal from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2016, is set to seal a return to Germany.

The 30-year-old is leaving after his best season at the Emirates Stadium, in which he contributed seven goals and seven assists in the Premier League.

He is expected to be replaced by West Ham captain, Declan Rice.


Arsenal is close to completing a £105m move for Declan Rice.
