Doja Cat Dressed As an Actual Cat at the 2023 Met Gala: Photos & Videos

 Doja Cat is making sure that this Met Gala will be one to remember! The rapper-singer, who is 27 years old, made her debut at fashion’s biggest night on Monday, turning heads at a benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Doja wore a bedazzled cat costume on the red carpet as she went all feline for the event. The feathered train and cat-ear silhouette of her hooded look were accented by cat eye, nose, and mouth makeup.

Doja told Rachel Smith of ET that she and her team spent two hours completing the transformation.

Doja teased her appearance prior to the soiree by posting a mannequin bearing only her name.

The “Say as much” emcee is among an elegant gathering at the 2023 Met Celebration. This year’s event has as its theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” commemorates the designer’s entire career and life.

150 of Lagerfeld’s designs from Chanel, Balmain, Patou, Fendi, Chloe, and his own personal line are on display in the exhibition, which opens to the public on May 5 and runs through July 16.
