Timothy Fitzpatrick Died In Seminole Co. Shooting, Sherry Fitzpatrick Arrested
A stand your ground request made by counsel for a Casselberry woman accused of fatally shooting her husband was refused by a Seminole County court.
After Sherry Lynne Fitzpatrick’s 55-year-old husband Timothy Fitzpatrick was discovered dead in their home, the Casselberry Police Department detained her.

Timothy Fitzpatrick was found in the master bedroom of a house on North Winter Park Drive on July 28 with two gunshot wounds, one of which was to the side of his neck, according to the police.
Sherry Fitzpatrick informed the police that she discovered her husband unconscious on the floor the morning after an altercation while they were at the house. Sherry Fitzpatrick allegedly informed police that she slept in a different room after the argument.
Police were able to detect a firearm in the bedroom’s nightstand drawer despite not finding a gun right next to the man.
In an interview with Timothy Fitzpatrick’s wife on August 10, when she “provided a revised statement” concerning his death, police said their homicide investigation came to an end.
In September 2021, a grand jury indicted her on a charge of first-degree premeditated murder
